Lexi said it, not me.

As did Erica.

And then Liz made me some serious fanart.

I've also been inducted into Rolly's Spuffy Mafia.

How about a family trying to deal with the poverty that comes with war? A veteran with PTSD? Someone who has a phantom limb?

But I’m already writing about someone with a phantom limb in fic… :DDD

(No, but thank you! I wanted to do a veteran but I was worried that it might be too similar to the boys off to war. The phantom limb angle is really interesting though!)

Ask me: Fandom Edition: B, A, N, Y, A

Already did B and Y!

A- Um. I’m taking OTP as One True Pairings in this case, sooo…Buffy/Spike, Buffy/Anya, Buffy/Koh, Spike/Angel, Angel/Wesley, Buffy/Gunn, and Satsu/Kennedy. Those are my primary ‘verse pairings right now. I’m also currently having feels for Catelyn/Ned, Catelyn/Jaime, Catelyn/Cersei, Jaime/Sansa, Arya/Gendry, Dany/Drogo (NOT OVER IT), and Sansa/Margaery.

N- I don’t want to pick just one! Um…these are some of my favorite fanauthors.

S- Headcanon! So…when Buffy found out that Spike was alive, she was furious. But not run-to-LA-to-give-him-a-piece-of-her-mind furious. She closed herself off completely, made snarky, sarcastic comments about it, and told herself that she didn’t care so firmly that she started believing it, just enough to get by. (But at night, he’s the one she imagines guiding her hand, and she hates that she does that so much.) She’s still angry, even now that they’re back in each other’s lives, but she isn’t willing to ruin a good thing by bringing up feelings.

P- Norse mythology AU! Who doesn’t like a little Loki wreaking havoc with vampire minions while slayers attempt to keep them all with Hel, with no success? :D

U- “Homoship.” :/ I have probably an equal amount of slash ships and non-slash, though I ship more slash ones more fervently because the show never gave them to me. Spangel, Banya, Buffy/everyone…but also Spuffy. :D

F- This one! Three years and counting, beating out Prince of Tennis by about six months now. :D

Y- Umm…I don’t really feel strongly about any of the Ender’s Game ships, I think?

Any type of small business owner or grocer or restaurant owner.

i guess if you owned a hotel you could live in it. or if you had a small shop or restaurant you could live above it.
Thanks! I’m thinking more corporate, though. Because there are ~corporate secrets~ in his home or something. In the original, it was details about a kid getting killed in the school. Idk.
(But I just realized that he can bring home data without it being in the location. So I think I’m just going to make him an analyst for the organization or something.)

They did change that scene from consensual to rapey in the series and the creators' explanations were lame sauce. BUT YES TO THE GOOD SHIP DANY/DROGO! Seriously. And I like Dany in the series but more so in the books. I think they did a good job. The series made me love and care about Catelyn, which wasn't happening in the book. Arya's arc gets ZOMGGOOD! especially in the next book. ARGH! This askbox cannot contain my ~FEELS~!

DANY IS ALREADY MY GIRL. And cguy kept telling me that Drogo was a good guy but he tends to read very textually so I was still worried LOL. I love Catelyn already just from the books! But I haven’t seen many scenes of her in the series yet so I’m going to have to see the awesomeness there. :)

AAAH SO EXCITED FOR ARYA. It’s the same as Sansa in that there must be more, but I worried that her arc, which is potentially strong plot-wise, would devolve to just a plot arc without a characterization arc. Sansa I have no doubts about- she kind of feels like Buffy standing on those steps at Hemery High, and you see Angel watching and the Watcher approaching and you know that everything is about to change, so you’re kind of watching breathlessly as the lollipop is replaced by the stake I JUST WANT THE WATCHER TO COME TO SANSA ALREADY.

I don't think I've ever seen any pro-life feminist lit. The feminism in the US is based heavily in liberal feminism, which is all about personal choice and freedom. So it slants pro-choice. There might be something under radical feminism but I doubt it. Maybe with a queer theory lens if someone came at it as the baby colonizing the feminine body? I don't know. I've just never seen it.

I suspected. :/ (I’d seen it from a religious perspective somewhere deep in Tumblr a couple of months back, but that feels….unsatisfying to me, especially since I’m from a religion that takes a more liberal view of it.)

I want to see both sides of this issue, especially as BtVS dips into something so real, but I’m having trouble reconciling pro-life with female agency, I guess. :/
